Following a period of significant growth, Tyne & Wear Pension Fund is seeking exceptional candidates for three senior leadership appointments:
- Head of Corporate Services (£100,416)
- Principal Operations Manager (£65,634)
- Principal Stakeholder Engagement Manager (£65,634)
Serving more than 200 active employers, Tyne & Wear Pension Fund is one of the most significant Local Government Pension Scheme funds in the country. As the fourth largest LGPS Fund in England and Wales, we are responsible for administering pension benefits for around 200,000 members and managing assets valued in excess of £15 billion.
We are proud of our reputation as a high-performing, forward-thinking and ambitious organisation. However, we are not complacent. The pensions landscape continues to evolve at pace, bringing new opportunities and challenges for the Local Government Pension Scheme. Our focus remains on delivering excellent outcomes for members, employers and stakeholders whilst continuing to innovate, improve and adapt.
This is a particularly exciting time to join us. Tyne & Wear Pension Fund now also delivers pensions administration services for the Teesside Pension Fund through a commercial contract. This creates one of the largest pension administration operations within the Local Government Pension Scheme, serving a growing membership and employer base. As we continue to build on this success, these leadership roles will play a key part in driving innovation, continuous improvement and service excellence across the organisation.
To support our ambitions, we are investing in our leadership capacity and strengthening our organisational structure. These roles will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the Fund, providing strategic leadership across governance, corporate services, pensions operations and stakeholder engagement.
We are looking for talented and motivated individuals who can bring fresh thinking, strong leadership and a commitment to excellence. Whether your expertise lies in governance and corporate services, operational delivery, stakeholder engagement or pensions administration, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact within a nationally recognised Pension Fund at a time of considerable transformation.
As members of our senior leadership team, successful candidates will help shape strategy, drive continuous improvement, build strong partnerships and ensure we continue to deliver high-quality services to our members, employers and stakeholders.
You will be joining a passionate, collaborative and highly skilled team that is committed to delivering excellence whilst embracing new opportunities for innovation and growth. In return, we offer the chance to be part of a successful organisation where your contribution will be valued and where you can play a key role in influencing the future direction of one of the UK's leading LGPS funds.
I hope these opportunities capture your interest and that the information within this pack provides you with a clear insight into the Fund and the roles available. However, I would be delighted to speak with prospective candidates who would like to learn more about these exciting opportunities. Please contact our recruitment partners, NY Resourcing, who will be pleased to arrange an informal discussion.
Thank you for your interest in Tyne & Wear Pension Fund. I look forward to receiving your application.
