Property Opportunities
Welcome from the Property Services Manager
Welcome to our newly created Property Services team at NY Highways.
You might be wondering, “Why does a Highways team need tradespeople?” It’s a fair question. Since our inception in 2021, NY Highways has been committed to serving the communities of North Yorkshire. Expanding into property services is a natural next step in that commitment, making sure the buildings people use every day are safe, well maintained, and fit for purpose.
I’m proud to introduce our new Property Services division, which will work closely with schools, colleges, residential homes, and other community buildings to deliver high-quality maintenance and support.
Although we work closely with North Yorkshire Council, NY Highways is an independent commercial business, providing both highways and property services to public and private sector clients across the region.
We’re passionate about creating a happy, family-friendly work environment and want you to feel a valued and supported team member. Our team benefits from:
- A dedicated work van
- Tool allowance
- Regular overtime opportunities
- Wellbeing support, including sick and holiday pay
This is an exciting time for us, and we’d love for you to be part of it. Explore the exciting opportunities within this growing division and we hope you’ll join us on this new venture. To find out more about working with us please reach out to our Recruitment Partner, Devon Lowe on devon.lowe@northyorks.gov.uk.
Kind regards,
Graeme McIlmurray,
Property Project Manager
