The Headteacher and Governors of this popular school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual, who has a relevant Level 3 or equivalent qualification, and has a strong inclusive ethos and work ethic, to work in our Nursery and Reception as an Advanced Teaching Assistant. Experience of working as an ATA or in a school setting is not essential. We are looking for an individual who has experience working with children at a Level 3 or equivalent standard. Our Nursery and Reception are on a fantastic journey, and we are aspiring to offer the finest provision in the locality. The successful applicant will work as part of a team and have the passion to provide the very best for the children and families we serve. The working pattern for this role is 08:15 – 15:45 and is in place to support staff to be able to ensure the indoor and outdoor provision can be appropriately maintained and resourced for our Nursery and Reception - as a school we want to ensure you have the time to do this.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a relevant Level 3 qualification.
• Understands the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Understands the barriers to learning that some children face.
• An understanding of SEND.
• Has excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Has excellent organisational skills.
• Who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Is passionate about giving children the best start possible on their educational journey.
• Has a willingness to take on board new initiatives.
