The Headteacher and Governors of this popular school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual, who has a relevant Level 3 or equivalent qualification, and has a strong inclusive ethos and work ethic, to work in our Nursery and Reception as an Advanced Teaching Assistant. Experience of working as an ATA or in a school setting is not essential. We are looking for an individual who has experience working with children at a Level 3 or equivalent standard. Our Nursery and Reception are on a fantastic journey, and we are aspiring to offer the finest provision in the locality. The successful applicant will work as part of a team and have the passion to provide the very best for the children and families we serve. We have recently reformed our Vision and Values and involved all stakeholders to achieve this. This Vision and these Values are at the heart of everything we do.

The working pattern for this role is 08:15 – 15:45 and is in place to support staff to be able to ensure the indoor and outdoor provision can be appropriately maintained and resourced for our Nursery and Reception - as a school we want to ensure you have the time to do this.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a relevant Level 3 qualification.
- Understands the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Understands the barriers to learning that some children face.
- An understanding of SEND.
- Has excellent interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Has excellent organisational skills.
- Who enjoys working as part of a team.
- Is passionate about giving children the best start possible on their educational journey.
- Has a willingness to take on board new initiatives.
