The Role

The Federation of Kirkby Malzeard C of E and Saint Nicholas C of E Schools are seeking to appoint a class teacher and member of the senior leadership team with a responsibility for teaching, learning and curriculum.

Our schools are situated in small villages close to Ripon and The A1 in warm and welcoming communities which support the schools and the children within them.

We are seeking an outstanding primary practitioner with a passion for pedagogy and a drive for excellence.

We are looking for a creative and strategic leader and classroom teacher to join our school and senior leadership team. As well as class based, this is a strategic role that involves driving school improvement, mentoring staff, and modelling excellence in the classroom.

You must be a team player with a sense of humour, positive can-do attitude and good communication skills who be able to establish positive and nurturing relationships with our children.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has a proven track record as an outstanding teacher
  • Can build excellent relationships with all stakeholders
  • Has a deep understanding of curriculum design, pedagogy, and current educational research.

  • Thrives in a collaborative environment, working alongside a dedicated and supportive team.
  • Will champion our Christian ethos and actively contribute to our vibrant school community.
