Our ATAs (Advanced Teaching Assistant) are key members of our highly valued class team in supporting the provision of consistently high quality of education and the holistic needs of our pupils. They lead and provide support for learning activities for individual pupils or groups of pupils with planning provided by􀀀a qualified teacher or HLTA, working to differentiated and adapted learning activities to suit the needs of the pupils. The Dales School is set in a rural location between the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales. We are an LA (Local Authority) Maintained Community Special School for pupils aged 2-19; and we support consistently good or better outcomes for our learners with MLD, SLD and/or PMLD. You will benefit from a highly skilled and collaborative team of class-based staff, led by our middle leader team, and a comprehensive and high quality CPD (Continual Professional Development) package.

You must be flexible and be prepared to work in any phase within the school.
