Job Role Overview
We are seeking an individual to take on the role of Teaching Assistant, where you will collaborate with the Class Teacher to assist in learning as well as providing support to individual and small groups of pupils. In addition, you will provide support to the children as a lunchtime assistant.
You will be required to be flexible in your approach, looking to continually seek improvements, in order to enhance everything, we do.
You will:
- Have previous experience in this type of role, particularly in KS2.
- Be supportive, nurturing, patient and understanding, working across a range of abilities and year groups but with particular focus on children in Key Stage Two.
- Be able to support in the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for all pupils.
- Be able to develop positive working relationships with pupils, parents, staff and other professionals.
- Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and inspire and motivate our children.
- Seek to make learning exciting and a positive experience.
- Work well as part of a team and show initiative.
- Be willing to undertake and act on relevant professional development and training.
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
