At Hunmanby Primary School we have created a happy school where everyone is inspired, enjoys and achieves every single day. Over the years, we have continually focused on making sure our children are nurtured, cared for and inspired to achieve their very best – by investing in our curriculum, educational setting and our staff.
Our values and ethos of ‘a school that inspires, enjoy and achieves’ is firmly embedded and we are constantly told by visitors, parents and the local authority that our school has a real warmth and energy about it.
To be a teaching colleague at Hunmanby you have to be inclusive, inspirational and proactive and have the highest expectations for our children. We are looking very much to the future. Ofsted visited us in May 2024, where we maintained our ‘good’ judgement and we are clear about our priorities moving forward.
Our Opportunity:
We are looking to recruit two talented and inspiring teachers to join us in KS2 from September 2025. We are looking for teachers who are willing to accept the challenge and opportunity that subject leadership brings. Without question you will be supported and challenged in your teaching practice and career aspirations. We would love the opportunity to see you thrive and develop your career here at Hunmanby Primary School.
We are looking for:
• A skilled professional who has an engaging and dynamic style of teaching within KS2.
• Someone who has the drive and ambition to make sure our children achieve their very best, and promotes academic excellence.
• A teacher with a flair and passion for primary education and who will embrace working and teaching in our school.
• Someone with a passion for school sports and extra-curricular activities.
We can offer you:
A warm, happy school where we value our community ethos and have a philosophy of treating each other with kindness and respect. Happy, enthusiastic and well behaved children. A school with unique and inspiring learning environments. An opportunity to work with an experienced and committed team and take a leading role in a school determined to reach the highest standards.
We have the following visit dates available to see the school and have a chat with Conrad Fox, Headteacher or another senior leader: Mon 28th, Tues 29th and Wed 30th April.
We are offering 2 sessions on each of these dates: 4 to 4.30 or 4.30 to 5pm.
