Salary: £12.60 per hour
Contract Type: Fixed Term, Term Time only.
Vacancy Hours: 7.5 hours per week – 1.5 hours per day

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and friendly Midday Supervisory Assistant for as soon as possible on a fixed term contract for 7.5 hours per week, 1.5 hours per day, term time only. We are looking for someone who will complement the existing team and work with us to promote the school’s Christian vision and values.

Job Description:

As a Midday Supervisory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and secure environment for children during their lunch break. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising children during lunch and recess times.
  • Monitoring student behaviour to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
  • Assisting children with their lunch needs and promoting good table manners.
  • Organising and facilitating playground activities.
  • Providing first aid assistance when necessary.
  • Reporting any incidents or concerns to the appropriate school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage with children during lunchtime and .
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and conflict resolution.
  • Support children in following school rules and procedures.
  • Assist in the setup and cleanup of lunch areas.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
  • Basic first aid knowledge is a plus.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
