Salary: £24,796- £25,989 per annum, pro rata (General Teaching Assistant) 40 weeks
Salary: £24,413 per annum, pro rata (Midday Supervisory Assistant) 38 weeks

Hours: 31.5 hours per week, 8.30 am – 3.30 pm, Term Time Only (plus training days) with a 1-hour lunch break for 2 days a week and a 30-minute lunch break for 3 days a week

Our Opportunity

We are looking to replace a long-standing member of staff who is retiring. As a result, we are looking to cover a number of roles. We anticipate that this would be initially 30 hours GTA (40 Weeks PA), and 1.5 hours MSA (38 Week PA).

We hope to develop this role to become 2.5 hours HLTA, 27.5 hours GTA and 1.5 hours MSA. We may also ask the successful candidate to be prepared to supervise the After School Club once a week which runs until 5:30pm. Although we are looking to appoint someone who could fulfil the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant role, we are looking to develop this further within school and are willing to offer training to the right candidate to enable them to achieve this if they don’t have the qualification already.

We are looking for:

An experienced teaching assistant who is able to motivate and inspire children to achieve; Ability to supervise children effectively.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Confident user of ICT packages including Microsoft Office/Google.

Ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence
