Pay: £24,183 - £26,272 actual salary

Brompton Hall School is based within private grounds in the pretty village of Brompton-by-Sawdon and is a Special Education School for pupils aged between 8 and 16 years, who have an Education, Health and Care Plan.
Our Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Key Stage 1 Nurture Class Tutor, working with pupils who have a range of needs and barriers to learning including social, emotional and mental health needs. Class sizes are smaller groups of around 7 pupils per class.
This role is a varied one, based both within and outside of the classroom. You will be required to use your initiative, and work with small groups, as well as at times within the full class. Working under the instructions and guidance of teaching staff within and outside the classroom. You will use your skills to enhance the learning opportunities of the children within our school.

You will be highly organised, with the ability to:

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- GCSE English and maths Grade A-C (or equivalent – eg Certificate in Adult Literacy / Numeracy Level 2)
- NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Safeguarding Level 1
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
