Nursery Assistant

Salary: £24,796 - £25,989 pro rata per annum
Grade: CD
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st July 2026 – Term Time Only
Hours: Variable hours – minimum of 12 hours and maximum of 28 hours per week. Initially 23 hours per week - Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am – 1pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am – 3pm

An enthusiastic part time GTA is required to start as soon as possible on a variable hours fixed term contract to July 2026. Applications are welcome from those with relevant experience with an early years Level 2 / Level 3 qualification being preferable.

Your role will involve working alongside other early years practitioners in our new nursery building, under the direction of the Early Years Leader.

You will need to be able to work as part of a team showing flexibility and a willingness to adapt where necessary.

GTA post is paid at Salary Grade C/D, SCP 3-6.

This post is offered as a Variable Hours Fixed Term Contract minimum 12 hours – maximum 28 hours as the opportunity for additional hours may quickly become available

Enhanced DBS disclosure is essential for this post.
