Advanced Teaching Assistant and After School Club Leader

Salary: £23,150- £23,893 pro rata per annum
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2025
Hours: Variable

Initially, Summer term 2024 hours are:
ATA
Monday 1-3.30pm, Tuesday 8.30am-3.30pm and Thursday 8.30-3.30pm (15.5 hours a week)
After School Club Leader
Monday 3-5.30pm, Tuesday 3-5.00pm and Thursday 3-5.30pm (8 hours a week including planning time).
Hours and the possibility of being 1 post or 2 separate posts is negotiable.
Husthwaite CE Primary School and Apple Tree Nursery is a thriving village school. The staff team is dedicated to achieving the best for all children and are supportive of each other in their work. We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, committed, and caring teaching assistant to join our team in the EYFS/KS1 class and also need someone to assist in the running of the After School Club. The Advanced Teaching Assistant post, will be under the direction of the class teacher, working within a nursery/reception/year 1 class to support and improve access to learning.
The After School Club Leader will lead the wrap around care offered by the school.
You should:

  • be able to inspire and motivate children’s learning
  • want to share our vision and ethos for the highest standards in all aspects of school life
  • have experience in an EYFS/KS1 setting

Husthwaite CE Primary School is federated with Sessay CE Primary School. Working across both sites may be requested in the future if necessary.
