We are looking for a new School Administrator
Due to the retirement of the current postholder, we are seeking a new School Administrator. The position is varied and will require a flexible approach to provide an effective and efficient service to our school. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills. Both confidentiality and discretion apply, as well as being able to work with your own initiative.
Working within the busy environment of the school office, the role will include managing the Office Reception for the school, providing an administrative service where excellent organisational skills are essential to cope with the demands of a variety of tasks. The candidate will also require excellent written, verbal and IT skills and able to interact with a parents, carers, pupils, staff and visitors in a pleasant, courteous and professional manner.
We are looking for a candidate who can:
- Provide a high standard of administrative support to contribute to the smooth running of the school
- Deliver high quality front of office reception service
- Work in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Meet and greet visitors to the school and answer the telephone in a courteous manner
- Facilitate ordering of supplies, obtain quotes from suppliers and service providers
- Be creative and dynamic and have the responsibility of maximising the publicity for the school, including utilising relevant media outlets and the school website
- Oversee the administration of various elements of school documents and coordinate with relevant stakeholders
- Work alongside the Office Manager and school staff
- Work in the hall as an MSA to complete the administration process of the school lunches and assist in the hall as necessary during the lunch period.
