Located just walking distance from the town centre, Airy Hill Primary School is a modern, recently re-furbished building with great facilities, including an adventure trail, large field, chill-out benches and the garden project.

Our Opportunity

We are looking for a Year 5 Teacher to our team. This opportunity is ideal for ECT’s looking to build up experience, or for teachers looking for a longer contract instead of day-to-day roles or shorter placements.

You will be supported by our Headteacher, our Mental Health and Nurture Lead, our strong team of teaching assistants, and other teachers to share ideas with. Wellbeing is a core focus throughout school, workload is monitored and managed to ensure you will be supported.

During the afternoon sessions, our Wider Curriculum focuses on a broad curriculum with many opportunities for school trips and visits. It is our belief that pupils learn best from visiting places and actively learning in their environment.
