We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team here at Athelstan School, as Midday Supervisors. This vital role involves supervising children during their lunch break, in the school hall, promoting healthy eating and ensuring their well-being whilst also promoting positive behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children during the lunch period, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Assist children with their lunch, promoting good table manners and a calm atmosphere in the school hall.
  • Administer basic first aid when necessary and report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate staff.
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold school rules, acting as a positive role model for children.
  • Communicate effectively with other staff members, reporting any issues or observations promptly.
  • Ensure a clean and tidy environment in the dining hall during the lunch break.
