We have an unusual role available for someone with a SEND background, ideally with experience working with children with SEMH difficulties. It is a difficult role to describe without revealing personal information about the child, so we would very strongly advise interested candidates to contact the school to discuss the role in more details.
The successful candidate will work within our hard-working, positive, enthusiastic and supportive team. We are genuinely inclusive and are determined to get the best out of every child in the school. The school is a happy place for children to learn and staff to work, and parents are happy to send their children to us.
The role will be 3 full days - Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, working with our SENCO and existing SEND staff to help secure the provision described in the EHCP for one specific child. We are looking for the role to start as soon as possible and as such, the vacancy may close early.
If the role intrigues you and you think you have got the skills, experience and positive attitude required, we'd be very keen to hear from you as soon as possible.
To arrange a discussion, please email headteacher@greatouseburn.n-yorks.sch.uk or call 01423 330296.
