Hours: 32.5 per week term-time
Location: Hunmanby Primary School, Filey
We are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to assist in our busy school office and to work within a committed and friendly team. Previous school office experience is desirable but not essential.
The key areas of the post are reception duties, telephone enquiries, monitoring pupil attendance, and general office duties, including the updating of the school database (Scholar Pack & Parentpay) and records.
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Be self-motivated, organised, efficient and take initiative;
- Be able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines;
- Have good IT skills that can be used across a variety of platforms;
- Have successful experience of working in an office environment;
- Be committed to their own professional development;
- Champion the ethos and vision of the school at all times.
