Pay: £30,000 - £49,725 per annum pro rata based on experience. SFCA Teachers Pay Spine up to £49,725 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. SFCA Teacher’s Pay Scale, Points 1 – 9

Our Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our teaching team. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher who has a passion for teaching A-Level Economics and Business. You will be able to motivate, enthuse and challenge students to produce the highest quality work, and effectively assess, record and track students.
Our A-Level Business Studies course covers topics such as leadership, marketing and financial performance and strategic methods. Students are assessed by written exams. You can view further information about the course here.
You will receive strong support and advocacy from the Head of Department to ensure the delivery of high-quality education to our pupils. You will work collaboratively on planning, reviewing, and assessing teaching methods and study programs.
Your valuable work will ensure that Prior Pursglove students excel in their exams, building the foundations of their lifelong careers.
The ideal candidate will have:
· A degree in a relevant subject (As this is a post 16 role a teaching qualification is not an essential)
· Teaching experience in a school or college setting (If ECT this can be from placements)
· Experience in teaching A-Level Economics is essential, and the ability to teach both A Level and BTEC Business would be an advantage
