Location: Whitby School and Sixth Form
Contract: Permanent
Hours/ Working Pattern: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 5 training days, (Part-time hours available / open to job share)
Salary/ Hourly Rate: Grade CD, £12.45 - £13.05 per annum, £24,027 - £25,183 per annum full time equivalent +SEN Allowance

In this role, you'll be the hero for students who need a little extra help. You'll work closely with small groups and individual students, guided by our amazing class teachers and Leadership Team.
You will deliver engaging tasks set by teachers and senior staff, and inspire students to stay positive and motivated. It's all about creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment where every student can thrive.
What you will need to succeed:

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communicator both orally and in writing
- Effective ICT skills
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Understanding of the educational system and current developments
Qualifications:
- Relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
